Effective Portable
Chicken Coops
in Delaware

Portable chicken coops, built for Delaware. Our coops keep your flock safe from foxes and coastal weather while giving hens fresh pasture daily—more eggs, less mess. They’re easy to tow around small backyards in Wilmington and big Sussex County lawns alike, with predator-proof hardware cloth, rust-resistant fasteners, and ventilation that handles humid summers at the beach. Choose configurations that meet HOA limits and still deliver roomy roosts, nest boxes you can collect from without stepping in the run, and skid- or wheel-based kits that glide over sandy soil. We deliver across the First State and set you up for success with assembly, bedding, and seasonal tips so your chickens stay happy year-round.

Delaware’s story runs deep. The Lenape lived along the Delaware Bay long before Europeans arrived; the Dutch briefly settled Zwaanendael (Lewes) in 1631, followed by New Sweden at Fort Christina (Wilmington) in 1638, and the English in 1664. For decades, the “Lower Counties on the Delaware” shared a governor with Pennsylvania before gaining a separate assembly in 1704. On December 7, 1787, Delaware became the first state to ratify the U.S. Constitution, earning its nickname as the “First State.” The 1802 founding of DuPont on the Brandywine powered early industry, while 20th-century corporate law turned Delaware into a hub for business incorporations. Today, beaches, wildlife refuges, and historic estates draw visitors statewide. Learn more at the official state portal and the Wikipedia overview.
